Our wide range of heating and cooling systems is designed to give you many options for ensuring the comfort and safety of your home or business within your budget. Our insured, certified professionals will be happy to discuss which solution is best for you.
Hydronics systems use water to move heat from where it is produced to where it is needed.
Many customers prefer hydronic systems because hundreds of system configurations are possible, to meet the exact comfort needs of each customer. In addition, when properly designed hydronic systems control both the air temperature and surface temperatures of rooms. Hydronic heat emitters, such as radiant floors or ceilings, raise the average surface temperature of rooms, providing both even temperatures and comfortable humidity levels. Hydronic systems are clean, quiet, economical, and integrate easily into building structures.
Forced Air Systems
Forced air heating systems distribute heat throughout your home or business using air to carry it. Heat travels from the heat source through a system of ducts and is expelled through vents into different areas of your structure to maintain the temperature at which your thermostat is set. When the desired temperature is reached, the heat shuts off until the temperature drops below the thermostat setting.
Heat sources for forced air system may be natural gas, propane, or oil furnaces, electricity, or heat pumps. We provide them all!
Geothermal systems harness the power of the earth to bring outstanding comfort to your home or business. Because the temperatures deep in the earth remain nearly constant, loops buried in the ground bring heat from the earth into your structure in the winter and carry heat from your structure back into the earth in the summer. Geothermal systems are reliable, comfortable, efficient, environmentally friendly, and adaptable for use in many regions. Because it lowers your energy costs, a geothermal system may be eligible for tax credits.
Electric Thermal Storage Units
Provided by Steffes, who designed and developed the first electric thermal storage (ETS) unit in the 1980’s, this system converts low cost, off-peak electricity to heat and stores it in ceramic bricks. A room thermostat monitors the room air temperature, regulating it to provide comfort 24 hours a day. When the thermostat indicates the need, the stored heat in the bricks is discharged. The system is safe and provides lower heating bills with predictable rates. You won’t fill a tank or need a carbon monoxide detector. Best of all, there is no routine maintenance except changing air filters, and no chimney is required.
Ventilation and Air Filtration Systems
Be energy efficient. A ventilation system is important for an energy efficient home or business. Because new (and many old) structures are built air-tight, contaminants such a radon or formaldehyde, now known to have adverse health effects, can be trapped inside. In addition, ventilation can help reduce moisture and mold that can cause deterioration. A ventilation system provides a constant supply of fresh air, usually from the outside, while channeling stale air back out. Depending on your needs, we can provide ventilation systems ranging from spot ventilation using localized exhaust fans to mechanical whole house ventilation.
Keep your family and employees healthy. We offer the Trane CleanEffects™ air filtration system that is designed to let air flow freely through the most advanced filtration systemavailable, cleaning your air fast and efficiently. The patented air cleaning technology removes up to 99.98% of airborne allergens that pass through the filter.
Remote Energy Management
We provide a simple, accessible home automation system that allows you to secure, monitor, and control your home from anywhere in the world. You can turn off you lights, program your lights on different schedules, or use a programmable remote thermostat to program your heating system lower in the winter and your air conditioning higher in the summer. With many more capabilities, you can rely on this Trane system wherever you are.
And For Your Convenience . . .
Although we aren’t a parts store, we stock a wide variety of humidifier pads and pleated or media furnace filters. If we don’t have it in stock, we will be happy to order it for you.
